Michael Jordan has the most buzzer-beaters in the history of the sport, with nine. Jordan still retains the NBA record for most buzzer-beaters after retiring in 2002.

In 2016, Bryant announced his retirement from basketball. He is recognized for having the “Mamba Mentality,” which enabled him to overcome hardships like injuries and losing a kid in an accident. Additionally, he sponsored the Kobe Basketball Academy, an annual summer program, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization After-School All-Stars. On January 26, 2020, he perished with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers in a helicopter accident.

James has the most game-winning shots in the league, but several other players have more. The quantity of game-winning shots he has hit puts him in the same ballpark as Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.
James has made more buzzer-beaters in the playoffs than any other player, with five total. He also has two buzzer-beating three-pointers (in the 2009 Eastern Conference finals against Orlando and in 2018 against Indiana).
